Processing of Personal Data
Protecting your data is important to us, and we take it seriously. This document provides information about the types of personal data the Estonian Traditional Music Center collects about you, how we use them, with whom we share them, and your rights regarding the processing of personal data.

We inform you that at our organized events, photography, sound recording, and filming may take place for the purpose of capturing moments of the event for public disclosure and archiving. These activities may include photographing event visitors without each individual's separate consent, based on public interest and/or artistic and journalistic self-expression, as permitted under the special basis for processing personal data by the Estonian Personal Data Protection Act. If you do not wish for recordings of you to be used, please notify the event organizers.

Purpose of Processing Personal Data
Personal data are used for managing customer orders and delivering goods.
Purchase history data (purchase date, goods, quantity, customer information) are used to compile an overview of purchased goods and services and to analyze customer preferences.
Bank account numbers are used to refund payments to customers.
Personal data such as email, phone number, and customer name are processed to resolve issues related to the provision of goods and services (customer support).
The web store user's IP address or other network identifiers are processed for providing the web store as an information society service and for creating web usage statistics.
Legal Basis
Processing of personal data occurs to fulfill a contract entered into with the customer.
Processing of personal data occurs to fulfill a legal obligation (e.g., accounting and resolving consumer disputes).
Recipients to Whom Personal Data are Transmitted
Personal data required for making payments are transmitted to the authorized processor Maksekeskus AS.
Personal data are transmitted to the web store's customer support for managing purchases and purchase history and resolving customer issues.
Name, telephone number, and email address are transmitted to the transport service provider chosen by the customer. For goods delivered by courier, the customer's address is also transmitted.
Personal data may be transmitted to IT service providers if necessary to ensure the functionality of the web store or data hosting.
If the customer has expressed a desire to receive targeted offers in different online environments (e.g., social media channels), via SMS and/or email, then personal data (name, email address, phone number) may be transmitted to the respective service-providing partner.
Security and Data Access
Personal data are stored on service provider's servers located within the territory of European Union member states or countries joined to the European Economic Area. Data may be transmitted to countries whose level of data protection has been deemed adequate by the European Commission, and to US companies that have joined the Privacy Shield framework.
Access to personal data is given to web store employees who can access personal data to resolve technical issues related to the use of the web store and to provide customer support services.
The web store implements appropriate physical, organizational, and IT security measures to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized access, and disclosure.
The transmission of personal data to the web store's authorized processors (e.g., transport service provider and data hosting) and processing of personal data occurs based on contracts concluded with authorized processors. Authorized processors are obliged to ensure appropriate protective measures during the processing of personal data.
Withdrawal of Consent
If the processing of personal data occurs based on the customer's consent, then the customer has the right to withdraw consent by notifying customer support via email.
Retention
Customer data are not processed for longer than necessary. The retention period may be based on contracts with the customer, the legitimate interest of the Estonian Traditional Music Center, or applicable law (e.g., laws related to accounting, statute of limitations, and other private law).
Deletion
To delete personal data, contact customer support via email. Responses to deletion requests will be provided no later than one month and will specify the period of data deletion.
Direct Marketing Messages
The email address and phone number are used to send direct marketing messages if the customer has given the respective consent. If the customer does not wish to receive direct marketing messages, they should select the respective link in the email header or contact customer support.
If personal data are processed for direct marketing purposes (profiling), the customer has the right to object to both the initial and further processing of their data, including profiling related to direct marketing, at any time by notifying customer support via email.
Resolution of Disputes
Disputes related to the processing of personal data are resolved via customer support at phone 435 4370 or email folk@folk.ee. The supervisory authority is the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (info@aki.ee).
